The developers are starting a full scale blitz on the Green Belt. To get an idea of its ferocity it is worth reading the council's "Core Strategy" submission document which has been bombarded with comments from developers.
It's very long but if you look at the comments in the green highlighted Policy CSP1 you'll get the idea.
Open the link below and click on "View Closed Consultation", then "Read Document".
Click on "Spatial Objectives and Spatial Strategy" in the left hand panel, then scroll down to Policy CSP1 and read the 29 comments.
