At the May 2022 elections, two new OLRG Councillors were elected to Tandridge District Council and Catherine Sayer was re-elected for the Oxted North & Tandridge Ward,
OLRG's Bryan Black was elected for Oxted South where Lynn Mills stood down because of extra work commitments and OLRG's Ian Booth was elected for Limpsfield where Phil Davies stood down because he is moving out of the area.
The linked Independents retained all 3 of their seats (Burstow, Horne & Outwood, Dormansland and Felcourt, and Godstone) and won 2 new seats, one in Bletchingley & Nutfield and one in Lingfield & Crowhurst.
It means that the Independents and OLRG Alliance now have a total of 18 Councillors and will continue as the Council's administration though still as a minority one because 22 Councillors are needed for an overall majority.
The Liberal Democrats gained 2 seats and are now the second largest group with 11 Councillors. The Conservatives now have 10 Councillors.
