We are delighted to say that all OLRG’s candidates in the Tandridge District Council elections have been elected with large majorities. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us and for all the encouragement and support we received when out canvassing.
The linked Independents retained 2 seats, gained 1 seat and lost 1 seat.
It means we have a total of 18 Councillors and can continue as the Residents' Alliance administration, though still as a minority one because 22 Councillors are needed for an overall majority.
The Liberal Democrats remain the second largest group with 11 Councillors. The Conservatives now have 9 Councillors.
We are also delighted to say that all 12 OLRG candidates for Oxted Parish Council were elected.
