We are pleased to say that Tandridge District Council has brought in 3 hour free parking (instead of the usual 2 hours free) until 30 September to try to give a boost to local businesses and encourage people to shop locally.
The charges are:
Up to 3 hours: FREE
3-4 hours remains at £4.50
Over 4 hours remains at £6.50
Weekends and Bank Holidays are staying FREE of charges and so is after 5pm on weekdays.
St William has asked its contractors working on the gasholder redevelopment to use the car park at Oxted School which has been made available to them, hopefully freeing up more space in Ellice Road car park for shoppers..
