A planning application has been submitted for a 64 bed care home to be built on the site of the Grasshopper Inn on the A25 near Westerham.
The building has become increasingly run down over the past few years as various planning proposals for redevelopment have stalled. It is not listed but the site is in the Green Belt and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
