Tanhouse Road Public Inquiry - new dates

The four day Public Inquiry being held into an appeal against two enforcement notices served by Tandridge District Council on a site on Green Belt land at Tanhouse Road in Oxted has now been rescheduled again.

The Inquiry by a Planning Inspector, which has twice been postponed, is due to start at 10am on Tuesday 29 April 2025 and last until Friday 2 May 2025. It will be held at the council offices in Oxted and is open to the public. Also, you can watch it live on the council’s webcast system and recordings will be available on the council’s website at the end of each session.

The inquiry will consider an appeal against two enforcement notices issued by the Council following breaches of planning control by occupants of an unauthorised encampment set up on a field in Tanhouse Road.
